5 foot wide door. No 3' or 4' wide doors like some competitors. We like it large. Great for large equipment like riding lawn mowers or ATVs.

We double-frame our doors for maximum durablity. One frame on the outside and one frame on the inside. Double-framed doors provide greater strength to withstand weathering.

Sturdy floors built from 3/4"  heavy-duty plywood

Step onto this floor and you will feel how stirdy and tough the floor is. Load equipment, boxes of books, bricks, gold bars - your choice! This floor can handle it. No low quality 5/8" or 1/2" plywood here.

Building storage sheds, portable buildings, barns and buildings since 1984 has given us the experience to engineer high quality buildings that will last. It's the little things that add up to a well designed building. Here are a few of those things below.

16" On-Center 2" x 4" Stud Walls

Studs are placed 16" apart for maximum strength. To save money, some competitors place their studs 20" or even further apart. This results in weaker walls - no thanks.

2" x 4" Double Top Plates

Double top plates means the sturdy, strong walls and roof will last. Some competitors only use one top plate to cut costs. It's simply not strong enough for our products.

Some competitors cut corners by having no bottom plate. Cutting corners like this is not the way we build our products. At Affordable Portable Structures quality comes first.

Strong 2"x4" trusses reinforced with double gussets

Double gussets are used for double the strength. And, we reduce waste by reusing plywood for the gussets.
